Why plant trees?
Trees are our best tool to fight climate change.
Excess carbon dioxide (CO2) caused by many factors is accumulating in our atmosphere and contributing to climate change. Trees absorb CO2, removing and storing carbon while releasing oxygen into the air.
Also, they protect soil, provide habitat for wildlife and help prevent water pollution among many other benefits to the environment and people.
Where are your trees planted?
Just in 2019 more than 9,700 square kilometers of forest have disappeared in the Amazon.
Considered the lungs of our planet, deforestation here directly affects the global climate crisis. It also generates desperation and poverty among the communities that live by and for the forest.
Our reforestation project focuses on the Madre de Dios region of Peru, home to more than 10% of all the world’s birds and a high-risk area for deforestation. The objective is to restore and protect the “buffer zone” between the Tambopata National Reserve and the city of Puerto Maldonado.

How are they planted?
Part of the proceeds from each garment go directly to our reforestation partners One Tree Planted to have two trees planted in your name.
Our partners work with local farmers to create a sustainable agroforestry system and establish an agricultural cooperative to provide a means for the community.
Planting native tree species that produce forest mass along with cocoa plants that provide resources to farmers.
Once your purchase is complete, you will receive a One Tree Planted certificate for your two trees.
What impact do they have?
In addition to combating global warming, your trees will help to:
– Protect the habitat of the Jaguar and many other endangered species such as the Tapir, Spider Monkey or Cayman.
-Provide a sustainable livelihood for local farming communities.
-Restore soil nutrients and prevent further degradation.
